Registration

Registration opens January 19, 2026 and closes March 31, 2026.

Registrations received during this period will be guaranteed a team placement. Registrations received on or after April 1, 2026 will be placed on a first come, first served waiting list and charged a $50.00 administration fee. Late registrants cannot be guaranteed a team.

Our online registration accepts: Visa, MasterCard, Visa Debit and MasterCard Debit.

If you would like to e-Transfer your registration fee, instructions will be included on your invoice following registration.

In-person and cash registrations are not accepted.

Refund Policy:

Once registration has been paid, SMBA will refund 100% of registration fees up to March 31, 2026, less a $50 administration fee.

From April 1, 2026 to May 1, 2026, SMBA will refund up to 50% of registration fees, less a $50 administration fee. The $50 administration fee for the late registration will not be refunded.

Once players have been evaluated and teams have been drafted, no registration fees will be refunded.

Divisions

Playing Days Disclaimer

All House League players will be scheduled for a minimum of two (2) league events per week.
An “event” includes a game, practice, or other league-sanctioned activity scheduled by the League Scheduler.

Weather, cancellations, or other circumstances may require rescheduling. While adjustments will be made as needed,
the League will aim to maintain an average of two events per week over the season.

The days listed for each age group represent the standard days available for all league-scheduled and rescheduled events.
If coaching staff choose to add additional activities, those events may occur outside the listed days.
The League has structured the schedule to allow equitable access to additional bookings where possible.

Scheduling concerns during the season should be directed to your Division Convenor.
This schedule is a pilot and may be modified at the discretion of the SMBA Board to best serve the majority of participants.

FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE

Application for funding to third party subsidy programs or First Nation Bands must be made by the applicant. It typically takes two months to process an application. Please enter the registration number on your SMBA player registration. Full payment will need to be submitted from all subsidy applicants upon registering to play with SMBA. Once subsidy funding is received, SMBA will refund the received amount respectively.

SPECIAL REQUESTS

Junior T-Ball to 16U:

SMBA will make every effort to accommodate special requests however, please note that there are no guarantees that all requests can be accommodated. Special requests considered are limited to: a player wishing to move up or down a division or playing on the same team as a sibling.

Female Players:

All female players are eligible to play down a division as an over-ager. (ex: a 12 year old may play one more year in 11U). Please request this in the special requests and select the appropriate age category.

Open League:

Please identify your team name, team manager, or a group of players you wish to play with.
