Welcome to the Mid Season tournament page. All house league teams in 9U to 16U are taking part in this tournament. Below you will find the formats and schedules for each age division.

Pitching Rules for Mid Season Tournament
For 11U, 13U, and 16U: SMBA Pitching Rule 11.4 is amended to shift the week from the normal 'Sunday to Saturday' to 'Friday to Sunday' of the tournament to read:
- A pitcher may not pitch more than 3 innings per game. A pitcher may not pitch more than 3 innings in one day (12AM to 12AM). If a pitcher pitches more than 2 innings in a day, they must have a full day rest (next day 12AM-12AM). A pitcher may not pitch any more than 5 innings during the tournament (Friday to Sunday).
Before and after the tournament there is sufficient rest built into the schedule to allow for regular season rules to resume. Therefore, innings pitched during the tournament weekend are not to be counted towards innings pitched during regular season games.
9U - July 2 to 5
All games will be played on Superior field (weather permitting). This tournament will be a double elimination format, with the initial games taking place on Thursday and Friday evenings. Those games will lead to the rest of the bracket, with games all day Saturday and into Sunday. See the 9U Mid Season Bracket here.
11U - July 10 to 12
The format will consist of each team playing 2 initial games against opponents from the entire division. After those 2 games, the top 8 teams will move on to a single elimination bracket. If necessary, OBA tie breaker rules will be used to seed the bracket. See the 11U Mid Season Bracket here.
13U - July 3 to 5
This tournament will be a double elimination format, with the initial games taking place on Friday evening. Those games will lead to the rest of the bracket, with games all day Saturday and into Sunday. See the 13U Mid Season Bracket here.
16U - July 10 to 12
All games will take place on IDA field (weather permitting). This tournament will be a double elimination format, with the initial games taking place on Friday evening. Those games will lead to the rest of the bracket, with games all day Saturday and into Sunday. See the 16U Mid Season Bracket here.
