Uniform Expectations

Now that each team has received their complete uniforms we wanted to remind everyone of the SMBA’s uniform expectations.
First
We understand that exchanges for pants will need to happen, it’s a yearly inevitability. Kids grow and might need a different size then you signed up for or the brand of the pants might fit different then others. That is ok!
If you need your pants exchanged let your coach know. They will compile a list to give to the divisional convenor. Once the convenor has all the lists, they will contact the equipment manager to make the exchanges. The returned pants must be unworn and unwashed.
SMBA’s Expectations
Wearing your baseball uniform is about more than just appearance. It promotes team pride, unity, and a sense of belonging. When every player wears the same uniform correctly, it creates a professional image, helps coaches, umpires, and spectators easily identify team members, and reinforces that every player is an important part of the team. A uniform shows respect for teammates, the game, and the organization, while helping build a positive team culture both on and off the field.
SMBA provides each player with a uniform. It is our expectation that each player wears the current years approved hat, shirt and pants provided to their team. If you do not like the pants provided to you, you are welcome to wear baseball pants of your own however please wear grey ones to match the team uniforms.
