Tournament Weekend!

This weekend will see some of the top 18U baseball talent from across Michigan’s Upper Peninsula and Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario come together for an exciting three-day, cross boarder, tournament. Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario and Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan will jointly host the 2026 Michigan Veterans Baseball / American Legion 18U Tournament from July 24th-26th.

Competing for the Championship will be the two hosts teams, The Soo Black Sox and the EUP Wood Ducks. Joining the hosts this weekend will be the Menominee Chiefs, Post 44 Blues, Gaylord Baseball Club and Ironwood Post 5 Athletics.

You can expect an exciting weekend of competitive baseball as these teams come together for one of the season’s most exciting competitions.

Friday will see preliminary games as these 6 teams work their way through the first games of the tournament.

Ontario Games will be played at Sinclair Yards IDA Park. 

Michigan games will be played at James Field Located behind LSSU.

Soo Black Sox VS Ironwood Post 5 Athletics – July 24th at 6pm – IDA Park at Sinclair yards

Saturday and Sunday Game times will be determined based on Fridays outcomes. You can follow SooBlackSox 18U on Game Changer to see when their next games will be!
