⚾ Get Involved with SMBA – Division Convenors Needed! ⚾
The SMBA is still looking for Division Convenors for the following divisions:
- T-Ball
- Junior 9U
- 11U
Division Convenors play an important role in helping ensure the season runs smoothly for players, coaches, and families. If you enjoy baseball, organization, and working with people, this is a great way to make a difference in our program.
Division Convenor Responsibilities
Division Convenors help coordinate and support their division throughout the season. Responsibilities include:
- Distributing, interpreting, and helping enforce league rules
- Reviewing and approving postponed game schedules
- Assisting with player evaluations and the draft process
- Coordinating equipment and uniform distribution with the Equipment Manager
- Sharing important information with coaches and teams
- Ensuring game scores are updated and reported
- Assisting in overseeing the midseason tournament and playoffs
- Reporting to the VP of Baseball Operations
