15U House League Select Tryouts Announced
15U House League Selects will be hosting baseball camps on the following dates;
- Thursday June 5th @ 4:15-5:15 Ram field
- Tuesday June 10th @ 4:00-5:00 Ram Field
- Thursday June 12 @ @ 4:15-5:15 Ram field
- Thursday June 19 @ @ 4:15-5:15 Ram field
- Tuesday June 24 @ 4:00-5:00 Ram Field
- Thursday June 26 @ 4:15-5:15 Ram field
Cost of the camps will be $50. Please pre-register by contacting Jim Beckersoncolts_7@hotmail.com. Etransfers to “ pawelek.philip@gmail.com “ , cash, or cheques (made out to u15 Soo Selects) will be accepted on the first day of camps.
The 15Uselect team will be picked during these baseball camps. Camps are open to all players in the 16U division, but only 15U players (2010, 2011) are eligible for the 15U Select team.
Select baseball commitment is in addition to regular house league baseball and house league baseball schedules will take priority.
15U Selects are looking to participate in a 15U Sault Michigan Sluggers Baseball tournament on July 18th and in the House League Select OBA’s on August 29th in New Market. Exhibition games will likely be set up vs Sault Michigan Sluggers, U15 Black Sox, and possibly a select team from North Bay.
Practices will run through July and August on Tuesdays at 4:00. This team will be Coached by Jim Beckerson, Fred Slukynsky, Philip Pawelek and some guests coaches.
