11U Mid Season Tournament

Friday Evening kicked off our 11U House League Mid Season Tournament!

Game 1 – Load and go 11 VS Art by Amy Williams 11

What started as a tight contest turned into a dramatic back-and-forth battle between Art by Amy Williams and Load & Go Bros. Art by Amy Williams jumped out to an early lead, but Load & Go Bros responded with a huge third inning, using patience at the plate and timely hitting to surge ahead. Art by Amy Williams answered right back in the fourth, rallying to reclaim the lead before Load & Go Bros mounted another comeback to tie the game at 11-11 in the bottom of the fourth. With both teams trading momentum all game long, the pitchers took over in the fifth, retiring the side with a series of strikeouts to preserve an exciting 11-11 draw.

Game 2 – Soo Auto 5 VS KC Roofing 11 

KC Roofing overcame an early deficit with a relentless comeback, using patient at-bats and timely hits to erase a 5-0 hole against Soo Auto. After taking the lead in the third, KC Roofing kept the pressure on with more clutch hitting in the fourth and a four-run fifth to pull away. Soo Auto threatened early and battled throughout, but KC Roofing's offense and strong pitching down the stretch secured an impressive 11-5 victory

Game 3 – Ampd Auto 14 VS Soo Blaster Powerhouse 8

Ampd Auto broke open a close game with a powerful offensive display, highlighted by a pair of home runs, a bases-clearing triple, and consistent production throughout the middle innings. Soo Blaster Powerhouse refused to back down, answering with a home run of their own and a five-run fifth inning to cut into the deficit. Despite the late rally, Ampd Auto continued to capitalize on scoring opportunities and closed out an exciting 14-8 victory.

Game 4 – World Cars Hyundai 8 VS All Atar Auto Glass 12

All Star Auto Glass came out swinging, erupting for 10 runs over the first two innings to build a commanding lead over World Cars Hyundai. World Cars Hyundai showed plenty of determination, rallying with patient at-bats and scoring eight runs to make things interesting late in the game. However, strong pitching in the final inning shut the door, allowing All Star Auto Glass to hold on for a hard-fought 12-8 victory.

Game 5 – Martineau Masonry 4 VS Cobs Bread 12

Cobs Bread raced out to an early lead with a patient offensive approach, drawing walks and capitalizing on scoring opportunities to build a comfortable advantage. Martineau Masonry battled back with timely hits and disciplined at-bats, cutting into the deficit, but Cobs Bread answered with another big fourth inning to put the game out of reach. Strong pitching in the final frame sealed an impressive 12-4 victory for Cobs Bread.

Game 6 – M Wilson Financial 5 VS AMpd Auto 12

In a thrilling back-and-forth matchup, Ampd Auto erased an early deficit with a powerful offensive performance. After home runs helped keep them within striking distance, Ampd Auto exploded in the fifth inning, highlighted by a bases-clearing triple that turned the game around. M Wilson Financial answered with timely extra-base hits and battled all game long, but Ampd Auto's late rally proved to be the difference in a hard-fought 12-5 victory.

Saturday morning, bright and early, we were back at the Ballpark and ready to go!

Game 7 – Load and Go 15 VS Martineau Masonry 0

Load & Go Bros put together a dominant performance from start to finish, combining patient at-bats with timely hitting to build a big early lead over Martineau Masonry. The offense stayed hot throughout the game, highlighted by an exciting inside-the-park grand slam in the fourth inning. Meanwhile, Load & Go Bros' pitching was outstanding, piling up strikeouts and holding Martineau Masonry scoreless to secure an emphatic 15-0 victory.

Game 8 – Cobs Bread 6 VS Art by Amy Williams 12

Art by Amy Williams earned a 12-6 victory in an action-packed matchup. Two inside-the-park home runs helped build an early lead, while timely hitting kept the offense rolling throughout the game. Cobs Bread battled back with a big second inning and continued to chip away, but strong pitching and key late strikeouts helped Art by Amy Williams maintain control. Despite the comeback effort, Art by Amy Williams' explosive offense proved too much to overcome.

Game 9 – Soo Auto 9 VS World Cars Hyundai 1

Soo Auto powered their way to a 9-1 victory over World Cars Hyundai with a strong offensive performance and solid pitching. After a close start, Soo Auto built momentum with timely hits, including a big third inning and a three-run triple in the sixth to seal the win. World Cars Hyundai battled throughout and added an early inside-the-park home run, but Soo Auto’s pitching and consistent offense kept the game under control.

Game 10 – All Star Auto Glass 11 VS KC Roofing 16

All Star Auto Glass jumped out to an early lead with a strong opening inning, using timely hitting and a big triple to build momentum. KC Roofing battled back with a consistent offensive attack, highlighted by several key hits and a late-game surge that turned the momentum in their favour. Both teams showed great patience at the plate and battled through a high-scoring matchup, but KC Roofing’s explosive fourth and fifth innings proved to be the difference as they secured an exciting 16-11 victory.

Game 11 – Soo Blaster Powerhouse 4 VS M Wilson Financial 7

Soo Blaster Powerhouse and M Wilson Financial battled through a back-and-forth matchup filled with strong pitching, timely hitting, and plenty of excitement. Soo Blaster Powerhouse built an early lead with key extra-base hits, including a big double that brought in runs, while M Wilson Financial answered with a strong offensive push highlighted by a triple and a big fifth inning rally. Both teams showed great patience at the plate and battled until the final inning, but M Wilson Financial’s late surge helped secure a 7-4 victory in a competitive and entertaining game.

Game 12 – M Wilson Financial 7 VS Load and Go 3

M Wilson Financial jumped out to an early lead with a strong offensive start, highlighted by a big triple and an inside-the-park home run that helped build momentum. Load & Go Bros battled back with a determined fifth inning, putting together key hits and scoring runs to cut into the lead. Both teams showed great effort with strong defensive plays and competitive at-bats throughout the game. M Wilson Financial’s early offence and timely scoring proved to be the difference as they secured a 7-3 victory in an exciting matchup.

Game 13 – Soo Auto 11 VS Art by Amy Williams 5

Soo Auto and Art by Amy Williams battled in an exciting matchup that featured big innings and plenty of momentum swings. Soo Auto jumped out early with timely hits and a strong second inning, including a three-run double to build a lead. Art by Amy Williams answered back with patient at-bats, working walks and capitalizing on opportunities to keep the game close. Soo Auto continued to add runs through the middle innings, while Art by Amy Williams showed resilience with a late offensive push. Both teams displayed strong effort and competitive play, with Soo Auto holding on for an 11-5 victory.

Game 14 – Ampd Auto 10 VS All Star Auto Glass 0

Ampd Auto came out strong in this matchup against All Star Auto Glass, building momentum with a patient approach at the plate and timely hitting. Ampd Auto opened the scoring in the second inning with a series of walks and key hits, then broke the game open with a big third inning highlighted by a three-run inside-the-park home run. Another inside-the-park homer in the fourth added to the lead, while strong pitching kept All Star Auto Glass off the scoreboard. All Star Auto Glass battled throughout, but Ampd Auto’s offensive surge proved too much as they earned a 10-0 victory.

Game 15 – Cobs Bread 7 VS KC Roofing 3

Cobs Bread came out swinging early, building an early lead with a strong opening inning highlighted by timely hits, patient at-bats, and aggressive base running. KC Roofing answered back with steady pressure throughout the game, putting together key hits and taking advantage of scoring opportunities, including a big inning that kept the game within reach. Cobs Bread continued to battle at the plate, highlighted by an exciting inside-the-park home run that energized the team and added to their lead. KC Roofing showed great resilience, grinding through long at-bats and creating chances with walks, singles, and smart base running. Both teams showcased strong pitching, defensive plays, and plenty of determination as they battled through the final innings, with Cobs Bread holding on in an entertaining and competitive matchup.

Sunday we showed up for the Semi Finals and Finals!

Game 16 – Soo Auto 1 VS Ampd Auto 8

Ampd Auto came out strong in this semi final matchup, using patience at the plate and timely hitting to build momentum throughout the game. Soo Auto answered with solid pitching, defensive plays, and a few scoring opportunities of their own, including a strong opening inning and continued pressure on the base paths. Ampd Auto’s offense continued to roll with a combination of walks, key singles, and extra-base hits, highlighted by a big fourth inning that helped extend their lead. Both teams showed great effort, with players battling through long at-bats, making smart plays in the field, and competing every inning. It was another exciting display of teamwork, determination, and the passion that makes baseball so enjoyable.

Game 17 – M Wilson Financial 12 VS Cobs Bread 6

M Wilson Financial and Cobs Bread delivered an exciting battle filled semi final with momentum swings, patient at-bats, and strong offensive efforts from both teams. Cobs Bread came out aggressively, putting together a big opening inning with timely hits and smart base running to build an early lead. M Wilson Financial responded with a determined comeback, using a combination of walks, key singles, and extra-base hits to close the gap and eventually take control of the game. A strong fifth inning helped M Wilson Financial continue their push, while Cobs Bread kept battling with runners on base and solid defensive plays. Both teams showed great teamwork, resilience, and competitive spirit throughout the matchup, making it another memorable game.

Championship Game!

Game 18 – M Wilson Financial 7 VS Ampd Auto 12

It was an exciting championship matchup between Ampd Auto and M Wilson Financial, featuring strong at-bats, aggressive base running, and plenty of action throughout the game. M Wilson Financial came out swinging early, using timely hits and patient approaches at the plate to build momentum, while Ampd Auto responded with a big offensive push of their own, highlighted by extra-base hits and a three-run home run to keep the game competitive. Both teams battled through the middle innings with runners moving, defenses making plays, and pitchers working hard to keep the pressure on. M Wilson Financial continued to find ways to produce runs late, but Ampd Auto showed determination and kept fighting until the final out. A great display of teamwork, effort, and exciting baseball from both teams. 

In the end Ampd Auto secured the win and the Mid Season Championship!
