Welcome to the Registration Waitlist

Join the waitlist to be considered as spots open.

We manage registrations on a first‑come, first‑served basis. As teams finalize rosters and payments settle, additional spots may become available. Adding your player to the waitlist ensures you’ll be contacted immediately if a space opens.

What Happens Next

1. You’ll receive a confirmation email once your waitlist form is submitted. 
2. If a spot opens, we will contact families BY EMAIL in order of waitlist position.
3. You’ll have 2 days to claim the spot before it is offered to the next family. Payment details will be included in the email if you are offered a spot,

How likely is it that a spot opens?

It varies by season. Openings typically occur when players withdraw or divisions expand.

Do I have to pay to be on the waitlist?

No. Payment is only required if you accept an offered spot.

Welcome to the 2026 Registration for Soo Minor Baseball Association!

This registration is for all House League or Dedicated Selects to enroll as a member of the Association.

Please note that if a player resides in another association’s region, we will require a release from their home association. Please contact us for further information.

Female Players

Please note: Female players will have the option to register for an age group for one year longer (ie a 10 year old is eligible for 9U). You will see a separate Age Group for an overage Female in each age group.

Fees & Payments 

Refund Policy:

Once registration has been paid, SMBA will refund 100% of registration fees up to March 31, 2026, less a $50 administration fee.

From April 1, 2026 to May 1, 2026, SMBA will refund up to 50% of registration fees, less a $50 administration fee. The $50 administration fee for the late registration will not be refunded.

Once players have been evaluated and teams have been drafted, no registration fees will be refunded. Thank you for your understanding.
